Aug 15 – Day 105 Patterson Bay to Ethelda Bay in the Estavan Group
It’s still raining. There are two waterfalls behind our boats, not tall but both carry a large amount of water. By 9am we had collected 3 inches of rainwater overnight in one of our buckets. Can you say ‘wet’? Hello mother nature, this is August and supposed to be hot dry weather.
The same waterfall after it stopped raining, way less water pouring out.
The hunter-gatherers went out to check and bring in the pots. No luck.
We went out to the ocean side for an exploratory cruise and ended up on a beach.
Now why would there be a metal piling type structure be out here?
It appeared to be bobbing a little but was stuck in place, how did it get here.
Glen found some broken plastic floats, and a Mustang Life Jacket – in good condition. I found a beached whale, well sort of…..
