Day 23 - June 7 - Takush Bay to Adams Harbor Part 1

Day 23 - June 7 –  Takush Bay to Adams Harbor   Part 1

The sun was out.  We headed out of Smith Sound with a light breeze and minimal waves and finished the ocean crossing section to the protection of Calvert Island. After entering the Kwakshua Channel we passed by Pruth Bay and ‘Pete’s rock’, it was hiding under water so no tinkle function was performed.

Our new buddy the Grumman flew over us again, this time we got the photo.  He must like us.

We pulled into Adams Harbor about 13:00 and into the beach boats to head for the sandy ocean beaches for a beach combing outing. A few dragon egg rocks, a net float, and lots of 4” Abalone shells secured and we headed back to the boats.

Love this beach

Glen being silly

Found a family on the beach cooking ‘bread/rolls’ for their dinner.  A family of 7 on a sailboat.  Dad and the kids were on the beach.

Mom was either napping or preparing the rest of dinner on the boat.
