June 20 - Hole in the Wall to Port Protection

We cruised over to Port Protection where Sea Jay was waiting. They have been gone for about a week, getting Sea Eagle’s steering fixed and taking a quick trip back to Washington for their granddaughter’s HS Graduation. Port Protection looks about the same as it did the last time we were here. But there appears to be several houses for sale now. I asked one of the locals about the reality show ‘Port Protection’ and she said that many of the locals were not happy about it as it did not reflect the ‘real community’, and many felt that being a scripted reality show that it did not do the community any justice. They have had people want to move up here because of the show but those haven’t stayed long after getting here.
Once everyone had had their fill of this port, we headed out.
