June 13 – Craig

Up early trying to get something done on the computer while we might have some internet access today.  

Today is Gary’s 75^th birthday.  Happy Birthday Gary.

 

Took Nicole over to Klawock to see the Totem park there.  Gary, Lenore, Pete, Linda, Glen, Nicole and I went over in two of the small boats.   The totem park looks about the same as it did in 2013. 

 

Back to Magic, got Nicole all packed up and the fish loaded in the ice chest with ice for her to haul home.   Took her over to the float plane dock and got her checked in.  The cooler of fish weighs 67 lbs.   Hoping that they don’t hit her in Ketchikan with over-weight baggage fees.  Maybe with the wheels they won’t have to pick it up.   She took off on a Beaver aircraft with 3 other passengers.  When the pilot said something about the passengers getting to flip or whatever for the front seat, no one responded so she said that she’d take the front.  That’s my girl.  The three guys had to sit together in the second row.  The back row was filled with fish boxes.  

They took off and about an hour later she sent a text to Diane saying that she was in the Ketchikan airport all checked in and waiting for her flight to Seattle.  No over-weight fees, she got lucky. 

I’m getting some internet time in the Library with Diane while Glen is shopping and doing guy things.   

We are staying here again tonight and will leave sometime tomorrow morning.
