Not the same deer. Yep two deer on one excursion, but no bear
So far every deer we've seen has appeared to still have it's winter coat on, and some look pretty thin and scraggly. This one doesn't look all that bad.
Got back to the boats and it started to rain again, but only for a bit.
We had a matinee today. The showing included the two videos that we are required to watch before entering into Glacier Bay. Due to Covid, they are having people watch the videos before arrival instead of making them watch them at the ranger's office, and then having a ranger lecture. Okay that's done and we'll send off our 'yes we watched the videos' note to the park, when we next have internet coverage. We will still go into the Ranger station to get our 'guidebook' and see the lodge, and hopefully native long house. The long house was just about finished and dedicated when we were there in 2016, and we got a sneak peek and tour by one of the carvers.
Some spent the rest of the afternoon playing cribbage. I did some paperwork projects, and worked on my photos, and blog.
