Sunshine and smooth water - Yippee!!

Day 5
May 15th – Woke up to clear skies and sunshine. Went over to Lagoon Cove Marina to take a look around. Rustic and fun place with very nice people. They have a ‘Happy Hour’ on the dock every evening at 5pm. BYOB and appetizer to share and they provide prawns! Chris and I bought cookbooks of recipes collected by the marina at the potlucks over the years. Took walk around the grounds and visited with the owner for awhile, then headed back to the boats. Cruised on flat waters, under sunny skies, and surrounded by beautiful scenery, while winding through the Broughton Islands. Perfect water for waterskiing except that it is like 43 degrees. No thanks! Stopped at Sullivan Bay Marine Resort for the night at 4:00pm. Very cute community of floating homes, store, etc… Sitting on back deck in the sunshine. Internet access finally! Trying to catch up. Yikes. This was a fabulous day.
