Day 19/20 – May 30/31
Departed about 8:45 am headed for Wrangle. We will hang out in Wrangle for a couple days. Tom and Chris fly home on Sunday for a week of work for Tom then will come back. Glen and I have not firmed up our plans for this week but likely will do some sight seeing around this area. We might go up to Skagway or the like to see the sights as we won’t be going that way in our boat this year.
Spent Friday afternoon and Saturday hanging out in Wrangle. Went to Museum, which was very interesting, did some shopping, etc… Jim and Marcia Krell were in town so we visited with them as well as some other boaters who we’ve met along the way. Saturday evening we went to the movie in town, held at the Museum/Community center. Iron Man – good movie, well done. Nice theater room with about 200 seats and was about ¾ full. Before the movie started we chatted with locals seated around us. This town is full of people from the Seattle and Gig Harbor area. The couple seated behind us were most recently from Texas but were raised in Kirkland, guy next to us winters in Gig Harbor. Chris and I were chatting with the clerks in the hardware store and discovered they were originally from Gig Harbor and Seattle/Richmond Beach; small world.
Sunday June 1– hanging around the harbor this morning. Tom and Chris need to move their boat over to the new marina today and meet the dog sitter. They are flying home this afternoon so Tom can go to work this week; back next Saturday. Glen is reading charts and trying to decide what we’ll do this week. Pulling out of Wrangle now, it’s about noon. Stay tuned for more adventures.

You guys are having a Great Cruise and way too much fun. Carolyn & I will go to AK. in a year or two in our m/v "Emerald 1" to see the sites.
It will be boring to you, to hear about our huge and adventureous Cruise to Pleasant Harbor, but I will say, it went very well, plus. Our Cruise team, thanks to your suggestion, was outstanding and in perfect Harmony. According to the comments and e-mails afterwards, we accidently Raised the Bar for our Cruise Teams. O'Well we can't back up and make it less desirable. The weather was sunny and even Hot at times including our Dinghy Parade which included about 17 Dinghys. Bill and Laura had a good time but would not accept a tow back to our Dock, of about 100 feet. TMI, Sorry, more when you get back.
