Madan and Wrangle

Day 26 – June 6

Another bright morning, the sun is up there with a gray to white cloud layer between us. Pulled anchor and headed out very calm water (maybe a ½ inch ripple). My kind of water! There is evidence of lots of logging in the area. We are headed for Wrangle. Tom and Chris will be rejoining us tomorrow so thought we’d hit town today and try to get caught up on phone calls and internet stuff. We’ve been without any service since we left Wrangle on Sunday. I’m suffering from internet withdrawal and need a fix.

Nice afternoon, talked to Nicole and she was skiing on Mt. Hood today in a snow storm while Glen is here washing the boat in the sun without his shirt on. Also heard it is raining in Seattle today. Weird weather!

8:30 pm – Back from a walk in town, the store and dinner. I’m working on emails and blog postings. Hey, all this talk of rain and snow and guess what it has started to rain, the real wet kind. Glen should not have washed the boat! We are inside all snug and warm for the evening, so let it rain.
