Taku

July 1 - Taku
We left Tracy Cove and all went to Taku.  Saw one whale on the way over, it was doing repeated tail flapping which was fun to watch.  Maryann and I both took photos.   Taku looks much like it did in 2008.
Nicole your rope swing is still here, but you were not here to swing on it.   The group took a walk around the old cannery grounds, and talked to people on the dock.  There are two other boats here having come up on May 8th and 9th from Anacortes; one couple is from Australia and the other from Ashland Oregon.

July 2  - Taku  - Lazy Day
Reflections and Rendezvous pulled out early and went into Juneau.  Miner's Debt should already be there.    Panacea and Magic are just hanging out at the dock in Taku.  It rained in the morning, but reboats came in that are from down south; one a couple from Poulsbo who used to live in Petersburg and another sailboat from Port Townsend, but the couple actually lives in Mukilteo  (almost our neighbors), it is a small world.    Mehlum's spent the day fishing  --- zero fish.   The Magic crew spent the day doing 'house chores' and watching movies ... okay we had a lazy day.
