Day
5 - May 12th - Mother's Day
Happy
Mother's Day to all you moms out there.
We
woke up to clear blue sky and calm seas.
Glen took a dinghy ride over to check out the Hole in the Wall, didn't
take the camera with him but reported seeing about 100 Dahls Porpoise leaping
through the cut. Linda cooked omelets
for breakfast - yummy.
Took
a dinghy ride over to visit the Octopus Islands museum then back to Magic and
pulled anchor. Met up with Reflections
and Panacea and all four boats went through the Hole in the Wall without any
trouble about an hour before slack tide.
Saw
our first bear of the trip along the shoreline, a black bear. Took photo not sure if you'll be able to see
the bear in it however. :)
At
dock in Port Harvey for the night, all 6 boats finally together. Dock master was surprised as he did not
expect this many people this early in the season. Free internet - yippee. I'm getting caught up.

There
are 7 boats here; yep we took over the place.
Dock party dinner of fresh clams and oysters, and fresh bread. Nothing better than fresh seafood. Glen is eating cereal tonight. After dinner the crew of Rendezvous came
out with cake and ice cream to celebrate my birthday (which was yesterday -
party held till we were all together). Mosquitoes
are out in numbers.
Calling
it a night early again. Plan to pull off
the dock early in the morning headed toward Port McNeil. Will likely anchor out somewhere in that area
tomorrow and then go into the dock on the 14th as I have a conference call that
I don't want to miss.
