I
slept in to a 7:15am that is a record . Got a radio call from Rendezvous about 9am,
they are doing fine and are underway.
Our hunters and gatherers went out to pick up the pots. Reporting back that they got some
shrimp.
We headed
out about 10:30am for Shearwater. We arrived in Shearwater about 1:30pm after a
non eventful cruise under a gray and drippy sky. Got set up on the dock for the night and
bought 24 hrs of internet access. All 5
boats did. What a joke ..... did you
want fries with that? It took forever
to get on, and then we got kicked off, back on. Yes finally on-line. Needed to get 22 small emails out -- very
small emails ..... it took 45 minutes.
Now that is slow! Eventually
got some emails in (but not all) before the system dumped us off again. Ok we are spoiled but I think a starfish
could have delivered the mail faster.
Will try again later. There are about 10 boats on the docks now so
maybe everyone is trying to get on-line now.
Fishing
(Shrimp) boat pulled out with a ton of traps on it. Not quite as many as the photo we saw in
Lagoon cove but still a lot.

Glen and
Tom spent part of the afternoon fixing a head issue (on Magic), seems like
someone (non boater likely) flushed something that they shouldn't have in the
head and it eventually found its way to the head pump and messed it up.
Dinner
with Miners and Nelson's tonight - Pasta with Prawns. Another movie night, then bed. Wait I think I'll try that darn internet
connection again. Yippee it worked, well
sort of. It appears that if you really want to link to the internet you have to do it when everyone is asleep.
