August 1 – Tracy Cove to Windfall Harbor
We had a lazy morning. Some went out fishing and others did other things. Gary was the only one to catch anything, a nice Halibut. The rest said that the current was running too fast so they could not stay in one place long enough to catch anything.
Once everyone was back from being lazy or whatever, we headed out. Headed for Pleasant Harbor we think. In route we saw a couple whale in the distance (no photos), Eagle, and a family of four deer on a beach. We ended up in Windfall Harbor for our anchorage as we could not find a good spot in Pleasant Harbor. We are not far from the Pack Creek Bear viewing site that we’ll all be going to visit in a couple days. Shrimp Pots were put down. Keeping fingers crossed.
