Day 57 – July 6
We got up early, it was raining. Had a quick breakfast and then put kids in a cab at 8:30am headed for the airport and their flight home. It’s been fun having them with us. Back to the boat to do laundry and cleaning before Deb and Noble fly in this afternoon. Nicole called to say they had made it to Seattle. Yikes they got there before we finished getting the boat clean. Boy can those kids make a mess; they obviously take after their father.
Maryann left for her hotel about 1pm. She is staying in Sitka for another couple days before heading back to Spokane. It was fun to have her aboard.
Deb and Noble touched down about 1:30 and got to the boat about 2:00 pm. We got them settled and then the four of us took a long walk through town. We stopped for a late afternoon snack and then back to the boat. Untied the lines and headed out. We should be meeting up with Tom and Chris later this evening in Schulze Cove.
Noble had fun getting to drive Magic and learning all about the navigation systems. He had lots of bells, whistles, and other guy things to play with. Whale sighting - no tail; just a smaller solo whale traveling along.
Met up with the Miners, visited, watched a movie, and went to bed.
