Day 48 July 2 --- Discovery Bay to Shearwater
Woke up to cool gray sky, and fog.
Today’s plan is to head into Shearwater. Willow Williamson will be flying in to join the group on SeaLife for the next leg of the trip. Also, the Braick’s - Rick and Pam, on Beachcomber will be joining the flotilla today. Our Fab Four will get a new name again – back to the Fearless Five or ???? is yet to be determined.
No sign of the bird today. We took on a bit of fuel and some groceries, chatted with people on the docks and in ‘town’. There was a family from Bella Bella gathering at the community building at the top of the hill celebrating their grandmothers 87th birthday. It appeared that there were 4-5 generations there for the event.
Our group had dinner together on the deck in town.
